What is level filtering?

What is level filtering?

Complex Ethereum transactions may contain numerous events that may not be as relevant in the overall context of the transaction. Some examples include token approvals, token transfers, or WETH wraps/unwraps. The level filtering system allows you to receive alerts without including data that may not be of interest to you. We offer two levels of filtering:

Basic filter

Removes the following event logs from a transaction:
  1. ERC20 Approval (Tokens)
  2. ERC721 Approval (NFT)
  3. WETH Unwrap
  4. WETH Wrap

Extensive filter

Removes the following event logs from a transaction:
  1. ERC20 Transfer (Tokens)
  2. ERC721 Transfer (NFT)
  3. ERC20 Approval (Tokens)
  4. ERC721 Approval (NFT)
  5. WETH Unwrap
  6. WETH Wrap

Additional notes

When a transaction includes only filtered events (let's say, you wrap Ethereum to WETH, a simple token approval, or multiple token transfers), the system will send you a notification. regardless of the level filtering. If you would like to receive alerts only from specific events, please check the allowlist system.

The allow list feature is only available in Xypher Pro and is not available on the free tier
